Models Use This Diet to Get THIN Fast!

It’s a dream some women share: Having a slim, tanned Victoria’s Secret Angel body.

However, few ever attain this goal–and that’s because they don’t have access to the man behind these models’ bodies.

Earlier this week, Dr. Charles Passler–the man behind Adriana Lima’s Victoria’s Secret body–revealed his tricks to helping models slim down fast.

And although some cynics assume it’s just a fancy recipe for starvation, Passler insists it’s more complicated–and healthier.

“Most people’s problem is that they don’t exercise or they over-exercise,” says Passler to Elle Magazine. “Overtraining creates a lot of inflammation and it can shut down the weight loss to a degree. While exercise represents 20 percent of the equation, it is still important.”

So what does Passler recommend?

1. Sleep matters. According to Passler, people lose more weight when they sleep–so the more you get, the better.

“You lose the most weight in your sleep,” says Passler. “Go to bed at 10 P.M. every night and wake up around 6 A.M.”

But getting more sleep isn’t the only key either; getting “restorative” sleep also matters, the type of sleep that allows you to wake up energized and refreshed. If you get 8 hours of sleep and still feel tired, chances are you aren’t getting enough.

2. Hydration can make or break your diet. Most of us are obsessed with calories when it comes to losing weight, but to Passler, what matters is staying hydrated as well–something that all Victoria Secret’s models pay attention to.

Your best bet? Water, and lots of it. Aim to drink as much as you can, and stay away from beverages that enhance dehydration, such as caffeinated soda.

3. Exercise isn’t optional. As well as getting thin, staying healthy also matters–and the easiest way to boost your health is with regular exercise. But be careful about how you stay active, says Passler: Do too little or too much and you’ll slow down or even shut down weight loss.

As for what the Angels prefer when it comes to working up a sweat, word is they love Ballet Beautiful classes–a workout created by trainer Mary Helen Howers to sculpt their bodies super thin.

4. Go on a detox.
To rev up weight loss, Passler recommends going on a eight day detox diet consisting of small bites of vegetables, bars, and his own special blend of proteins–made into a shake to drink twice a day. Though the detox doesn’t offer much variety, it works: It helps people shed at least 7 pounds after just one week.

Not surprisingly, following all of these rules can help you slim down–but it doesn’t guarantee being free of hunger or cravings. These appear to vary from to person, however, say experts.
