Tomato Cheese Melt

This super snack is sure to leave you wanting more. Caraway seeds are an excellent source of dietary fiber and vitamins A, E, C and the B’s.


  • 6 slices of whole grain bread
  • 3 teaspoons of mustard
  • 6 thin slices of organic cheddar cheese
  • 1 organic tomato
  • 3 teaspoons of caraway seeds


  1. Place 6 slices of bread on an oven pan.
  2. Put 1/2 a teaspoon of mustard on each slice of bread and spread it thinly.
  3. Put a slice of cheese on each slice of bread. Put the bread in the oven and broil until crispy.
  4. Top each slice with a thin piece of tomato and some caraway seeds.

    How many people is this supposed to serve?
    My only problem with your recipes is that they often don’t tell me how many servings they make.
    Because I live alone and have limited freezer or storage space I need to be able to cut some of these recipes down to just 1 or 2 servings… 🙁
